The Hikvsion DS-3E0310HP-E is a long range, 8 port, unmanaged PoE switch. It features one Hi-PoE port, seven PoE ports and two RJ45 ports and can provide long-range access for up to 300m. The first of the ports is the IEEE 802.3bt standard, Hi-PoE port providing a maximum of 60W power supply. This is ideal for high power devices such as Dome IP cameras. With a strong metal casing, fan free design and 6KV surge protection this switch is prepared for use in harsh environments.

P2P troubleshoot on Dahua DVR/NVR

1. Make sure the cabling is okay. Check the connection (cable) from the NVR to the router, ensure that there’s no bad cable or loose connection.
2. Make sure you have a stable internet service.
3. Check if the device’s P2P function is enabled or not. Go to the Main menu > Setting >Network > P2P.

   Untick and tick it again, save the settings and wait if the P2P shows up online. Sometimes you may need to wait 1-3 minutes.

4. Make sure that the IP address of the recorder is set on DHCP mode. To enable DHCP go to the Main Menu > Setup > Network > TCP/IP and tick the DHCP (as shown below). On the Preferred DNS: 8.8.8.8 and Alternate DNS: 8.8.4.4. Save the settings.
   
5. Check the information entered on the gDMSS/iDMSS app, make sure the username and password is typed in correctly. Consult this article: How to view Dahua cameras on phone via P2P.
6. Reboot the NVR/DVR and check again.
7. Prefferd Dns same as your Default Gateway enter save
8. In some cases the firmware on the recorder needs to be updated. Get the latest firmware and update the software on your recorder
